The American Heart Association event had nearly 300 million impressions on Twitter during three days. Since not everyone can attend all the medical conferences every year, a number of us have pushed for more digital engagement at the American Heart Association ( AHA), American College of Cardiology ( ACC), Heart Rhythm Society ( HRS) and other large cardiovascular meetings across the world. But I wasn’t able to attend in person this year. It’s an opportunity to interact and engage with colleagues from all over the world, and to listen to presentations of cutting edge science. Important research is presented at this meeting.
